Job Title : Senior QA Engineer (Manual / Automation Testing)
Job Type : C2C
Experience : 7-15 Years
Location : Mountain View, California
Responsibilities :
- Experience in QA testing, with exposure to both manual and automation processes.
- Strong knowledge of test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
- Familiarity with defect tracking tools and root cause analysis techniques.
- Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with Selenium, API testing, or similar automation frameworks is a plus.
- Knowledge of CI / CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Certification in ISTQB or other relevant QA methodologies is a plus.
- Collaborate with leads to review requirements and provide inputs.
- Prepare plans, scripts, measures, and documentation for effective testing.
- Develop detailed test cases, and test data, and ensure the test environment is ready for execution.
- Conduct peer reviews of test cases and artifacts, documenting review defects.
- Execute test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements.
- Track and log defects and ensure timely documentation of test results.
- Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) and support the team in issue resolution.
- Provide regular updates to team leads on progress, risks, and quality status.
- Create knowledge base documents from test results to facilitate future reference.
