Job Title : Workflow Automation Business Analyst
Job Type : C2C / W2
Experience : 10-20 years
Location : San Jose, California / Raleigh, North Carolina
Key Responsibilities :
- Strong experience in business process analysis, workflow mapping, and process optimization.
- Familiarity with RPA tools (UiPath, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere) and process modeling techniques (BPMN).
- Understanding of system integration concepts, APIs, databases, and enterprise software (ERP / CRM systems).
- Skilled in creating detailed documentation such as PDDs, SDDs, user stories, and use case diagrams.
- Strong analytical skills to identify automation opportunities and propose innovative solutions.
- Ability to effectively communicate with both technical teams (developers) and non-technical stakeholders.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum / Kanban) and experience with project management tools like JIRA.
- Experience in managing stakeholder alignment and user adoption during process changes or technology implementations.
- Proven ability to work across cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
- Certifications in RPA (UiPath Certified Professional), Agile methodologies (Certified Scrum Master), or Business Analysis (CBAP).
- Experience in automating contract management workflows is a plus.
- Analyze existing workflows to identify inefficiencies and improvement areas.
- Map current state processes using tools like iGrafx, Visio, or BPMN and design optimized future state workflows.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather detailed functional and non-functional requirements.
- Create comprehensive documentation such as Process Design Documents (PDD), Solution Design Documents (SDD), user stories, and use case diagrams.
- Assess tasks within workflows for automation feasibility based on complexity, ROI, and strategic impact.
- Propose RPA or other automation solutions tailored to business needs.
- Define technical specifications, including data sources, inputs, logic, and expected outputs.
- Oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure automated workflows meet business requirements.
- Monitor post-implementation performance to validate success metrics like efficiency gains and cost reductions.
- Assist in prioritizing tasks, managing timelines, and coordinating deliverables across cross-functional teams.
