Job Title : SAP Basis Consultant - HANA & Sybase (Migration & Support)

Key Responsibilities
- SAP Migration & Upgrades: Lead SAP migrations to HANA and Sybase, including database upgrades and system refreshes.
- Disaster Recovery (DR) Setup: Set up Disaster Recovery (DR) systems and manage DR tests to ensure system reliability.
- HANA System Replication (HSR): Set up and troubleshoot HANA HSR for high availability and data replication.
- Data Archiving: Implement data archiving projects in SAP ECC, including setting up archiving objects and recommendations.
- Cloud Expertise: Work with cloud environments (such as GCP or Azure) to manage SAP systems and improve performance.
- Third-party Printer Setup: Configure and troubleshoot third-party printers (including VPSx printers) and ensure smooth label printing.
- SAP Solution Manager: Set up Solution Manager 7.2 for alerting, EWA (Early Watch Alerts), and BPM (Business Process Monitoring).
- Daily BASIS Support: Handle daily BASIS AMS activities like performance tuning, service desk tickets, and other issue resolutions.
- Collaboration: Work closely with different teams to resolve issues, improve performance, and ensure client satisfaction.
- SAP Basis Expertise: 10 years of experience in SAP Basis with hands-on experience in HANA and Sybase.
- Migration & Upgrades: Experience with SAP migrations, database upgrades, and system refreshes.
- Disaster Recovery: Experience in setting up and testing Disaster Recovery systems for SAP.
- HANA & Sybase: Strong knowledge of HANA HSR and Sybase database management.
- Cloud Environments: Experience working with cloud platforms (GCP, Azure).
- Third-party Printer Setup: Knowledge of VPSx printers and integration with SAP.
- Solution Manager: Experience configuring Solution Manager 7.2 (alerting, EWA, BPM).
- BASIS Support: Ability to handle day-to-day BASIS AMS tasks, including performance tuning and troubleshooting.
- Communication Skills: Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
- Cloud Certifications: Certification in GCP or Azure is a plus.
- SAP Certifications: Relevant SAP Basis or HANA certifications.
- Experience with Add-ons: Familiarity with third-party solutions like IXOS, Vertex, or FIORI.
- Scripting Skills: Basic knowledge of scripting (e.g., Shell, PowerShell) is beneficial.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
