Job Title : Senior DOCSIS Network Operations Engineer
Job Type : W2
Experience : 7-20 Years
Location : Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Responsibilities
- Senior Network Operations Expert, having DOCSIS network operations experience of more than 10 years
- Very good understanding of various functions of DOCSIS 3.1 network operations which includes Monitoring, Fault Management, Performance monitoring and analysis, service level operations and customer services
- Good understanding of OSS functionality and use cases
- Understand various requirements of operations team, understand process and procedures
- Shall be able to co ordinate with various operations team and can talk and understand operational language
- Understand operations analysis reports, pain points and shall be able to convert it to specific use cases which can be delivered by Umbreall OSS solution and Automations
- Shall be able to co ordinate with OSS and automation Architect for delivery of use cases
- Knowledge of HFC cable systems and provisioning, including DOCSIS technology (3.0) (must have)
- CMTS, Cable Modem, DOCSIS, QOS, BACC office provisioning, Network monitoring, DHCP, Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP or CCIP).
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
