Job Title : Sr. Network Automation Engineer – BGP, ISIS, and Telemetry Specialist

Location : San Jose - CA , RTP - NC (Onsite)

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Network Automation Engineer – BGP, ISIS, and Telemetry Specialist with strong expertise in networking protocols and automation. This role requires an in-depth understanding of networking protocols, including BGP and ISIS, combined with hands-on experience in network automation using Python or GoLang.

Responsibilities

• Configure, manage, and optimize network protocols such as BGP and ISIS.
• Utilize manageability protocols, including Telemetry, Openconfig, and Yang models for network monitoring and configuration.
• Automate network operations and workflows using Python or GoLang.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of automated processes with existing infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues using automation tools and scripts.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with IOS-XR based routers, including 8000 series, NCS-5500, and ASR-9000.
• Strong understanding of router operations and performance tuning.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
