Do you have a passion for storytelling and a talent for video editing? Arts In CT, a vibrant nonprofit bringing arts education to schools and communities across Connecticut and beyond, is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to help us share our mission and expand our impact.
We’re looking for someone to help craft a powerful and emotionally compelling video message that tells our story who we are, who we serve, and how people can get involved. This video will be a key piece for fundraising, outreach, and awareness campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
Your creative talents will directly support our mission to bring the arts into schools and underserved communities. This is your chance to make a lasting impact and have your work seen by supporters, donors, and community partners. We’ll credit you in all videos, and you’ll be part of a passionate team working to uplift and empower through the arts.

- Edit existing footage and/or create new videos to visually tell the Arts In CT story
- Incorporate testimonials, program highlights, music, and graphics into a cohesive and inspiring message
- Collaborate with our team to understand the mission, goals, and vision of the organization
- Ensure final videos are polished, professional, and optimized for web and social media use
- Experience with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar)
- Ability to tell stories through visuals, sound, and pacing
- Creative mindset and strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Bonus experience creating videos for nonprofits or educational causes
