Position Overview
Are you a people person with a heart for the arts and a passion for making a difference? We’re looking for a Volunteer Leader to serve as the key connector between our organization and our amazing team of volunteers.
This person will help oversee our volunteer efforts, connect with team members, ensure everyone is on track with their assignments, and serve as a voice of encouragement and leadership. You’ll also have the opportunity to speak with community members and potential supporters, helping us grow our circle of impact whether through time, talent, or treasure.

- Serve as the main point of contact for volunteers
- Onboard new volunteers and explain their roles and responsibilities
- Check in regularly with volunteers to ensure they’re supported and informed
- Help coordinate volunteer assignments and track progress
- Represent Arts4Schools in phone calls or emails with potential supporters
- Communicate the mission and impact of Arts4Schools passionately and clearly
- Maintain volunteer records and help resolve issues as needed
- Jump in to make calls or send emails when extra support is needed
- Friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Organized and dependable
- Passionate about the arts and education
- Comfortable using phone, email, and basic technology (we’ll guide you!)
- Previous volunteer management or leadership experience is a plus-but not required
