Account Manager Role:
Ready to be the face of Aruna? As an Account Manager at Aruna, you'll be responsible for nurturing and establishing new relationships, growing our wholesale presence across Massachusetts cannabis retailers. You will be our first point of contact in maintaining and growing the Aruna brand in this dynamic, emerging market.

In this role, you'll take charge of your own territory, turning initial conversations into valuable business partnerships. Your day-to-day will involve engaging with cannabis retailers, understanding their needs, and demonstrating how Aruna's premium products and strategic specialized manufacturing can help them achieve their goals. This is more than just making sales calls; it's about creating positive and engaging experiences from the first interaction to continued growth and support. You'll be empowered to leverage your Sales/cannabis expertise and creativity to showcase our unique value and drive growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish, develop, and maintain positive relationships with cannabis retailers
- Move all prospects through the proper stages of the pipeline via CRM
- Maintain clear, up-to-date, and accurate pipeline documentation
- Follow up diligently with potential retail partners over extended periods
- Document all interactions with prospects and clients in CRM
- Educate retailers on our products from an expert perspective
- Coordinate and execute promotional events and pop-ups
- Available most days from 9 am-5 pm local time to take calls
- Use both internal and external resources to maintain up-to-date knowledge of our products and industry
- Report market insights and competitor activities to leadership
- Collaborate with the team to formulate ideas on how to best serve our clients
- Ensure smooth order fulfillment and delivery coordination
- All prospect information properly documented in CRM so field marketing team has proper expectations by EOD
- Maintain targeted growth rate in wholesale accounts
- All qualified prospects are consistently followed up with indefinitely
- Sales stats (Leaftrade, Monday) are updated M-F by 7 pm EST
- Effective communication maintained across all departments
- Maintain expert-level product knowledge through continued education
- All compliance requirements met without exception
Minimum Requirements:
- High-volume transactional sales experience
- Excellent communicator over the phone / video conference, In Person
- 4 years experience selling to Small Business Owners (SMB) or Cannabis Retailer
- Must be great at presenting and relationship building
- Open to learning new processes in a regulated industry
- Routine driven with strong attention to compliance
- Self-sufficient and able to manage territory independently
- Well-organized and able to maintain detailed records
- Able to drive long periods and travel for work
Location:
- Based in Lee, MA
- Hybrid remote position with regular travel
- Must reside in Massachusetts
