We are currently seeking a dedicated Data Entry Specialist & Analyst to support our mission and help manage data for the RAY grant and other ongoing projects.
Position Overview:
The Data Entry Specialist & Analyst will be responsible for managing and analyzing data related to the RAY grant, producing regular reports, and ensuring accurate data tracking for continuous program improvement. This role requires expertise in data management, report generation, and working with electronic systems to support both program and organizational goals.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Generate, monitor, and distribute scheduled and ad-hoc reports from the agency's data solution.
- Collect data and perform analysis related to ongoing grants and projects as required.
- Develop documentation design to track demographic, quality, volume, and clinical metrics.
- Build queries and ad-hoc reports in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system to support program and administrative data needs.
- Extract, test, analyze, and interpret data using software tools for reporting and data visualization.
- Provide timely reports as required by the agency and funding sources.
- Create and run queries, and work with staff to correct data inaccuracies and address data integrity issues.
- Perform data analysis to assess program performance and contribute to organizational improvement.
- Develop and maintain data dashboards to share findings with a diverse audience.
- Maintain processes for extracting data and ensuring historical backups are in place.
- Assist in the development of data-driven strategies and organizational goals.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Education: BA Degree in Information Technology, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field preferred.
- Experience: Three to five years of experience in data management, with an emphasis on database systems. Additional education can be substituted for experience.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong experience with database management and relational databases.
- Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.
- Knowledge of statistical packages and analysis techniques is preferred.
- Experience with data visualization tools is preferred.
- Data Analysis: Strong quantitative and qualitative skills, including the ability to collect, compile, and analyze data for program performance and improvement.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Collaboration: Ability to work independently and within a team to meet deadlines and ensure data integrity.
