Responsibilities
- Collaborate with lead teachers to plan and implement effective lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
- Support classroom management by helping maintain a positive and respectful learning environment.
- Assist in the instruction of students, providing individualized support as needed to enhance understanding and engagement.
- Facilitate small group activities and provide additional assistance during lessons to ensure all students are included.
- Monitor student progress and behavior, providing feedback to the lead teacher regarding individual student needs.
- Help prepare classroom materials and resources, ensuring they are organized and accessible for both teachers and students.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and school events as required.
Qualifications
- A genuine passion for education and working with children.
- Previous experience in an educational setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with students, parents, and staff.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also demonstrating initiative when needed.
- Familiarity with various teaching methods and strategies that support diverse learning styles is a plus.
