Position Summary:
The Business Analyst will be responsible for a High Tech supply chain customer at the Arvato Digital Services facility in Louisville, KY, that includes inventory procurement, importation and tax compliance data gathering, and sales review and analysis. In addition, the position is expected to review and support processes to ensure proper accounting treatment and compliance.
Overall Responsibilities:
Support with invoice billing creation and review
Review material purchases for program including importation documents
Monitor stock transfers between distribution centers and review for accuracy
Ensure proper documents are received for indirect tax compliance
Compile data necessary for quarterly indirect tax filing
Assist internal or external auditors with inquiries specific to client program
Support tax consultants as needed for program compliance, registration, or tax efficiency
Develop a strong understanding of the business and systems to support and recommend best in class processes
Proactively plan and execute tasks necessary for month-end reporting
Complete various projects assigned by Management
Any additional tasks that may be assigned to ensure an efficient, safe, clean, and goal-oriented work environment

Minimum Qualifications / Skills / Requirements:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Bachelor’s degree (Business or Finance preferred but not required)
3 years of experience SAP Materials Management (MM) experience
Open to travel 10%
Preferred Qualifications / Skills:
Accounting knowledge
Analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving skills
Very good to excellent Microsoft Excel skills
Think with an IT mindset for end-to-end data flows
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Work independently with little supervision
Organizational and planning skills, including ability to: prioritize work, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, set goals and enforce deadlines, while maintaining flexibility to reassess and prioritize goals
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
Ability to maintain accurate and detailed records
