What You’ll Do at Arvest: (Other duties may be assigned.)
- Manages and executes the design and implementation of an enterprise-wide Business Resiliency Program, including policies, maturity models, methodologies, and strategies for all components of the program while generating ideas and critically evaluating future scenarios.
- Provides support in the design, development, maintenance, and testing of the overall disaster recovery and business continuity plans for each critical area supported.
- Manages and executes the Business Resiliency Program operating framework including risk assessments, business impact analyses, training and awareness, resiliency exercises, and recommendations for Program improvements.
- Coordinates, assesses, and communicates resilience and IT Disaster Recovery requirements and objectives associated with the current IT environment and identifies gaps or risks in the environment.
- Coordinates, facilitates, and provides detailed direction for all business continuity and IT disaster recovery exercise and testing activities.
- Prepares business resiliency metrices for reporting and communications.
- Leads the execution of business resiliency plans when a business or IT operational disruption occurs, in coordination with the Fusion Center and other members of the Business Resiliency team, for response, recovery, and restoration activities in the event of a disaster.
- Assists business and support functions in evaluating tools and technology that support the enterprise’s response, recovery, and restoration strategies.
- Creates program update communications and preparedness initiatives for internal management and other stakeholders.
- Applies technical knowledge under guidance, supervision, and well-defined work direction.
- Builds technical skills required to support the Business Resiliency Program.
- Understand and comply with bank policy, laws, regulations, and the bank's BSA/AML Program, as applicable to your job duties. This includes but is not limited to; complete compliance training and adhere to internal procedures and controls; report any known violations of compliance policy, laws, or regulations and report any suspicious customer and/or account activity.
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
Toolbox for Success:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Emergency Management, Computer Science, or a related field of study, or equivalent work or military experience, required
- 6 years of relevant work or military experience required
- Familiarity with industry best practices and regulatory frameworks related to business resiliency required
- Master Business Continuity Professional (MBCP), Certificate of the Business Continuity Institute (CBCI), and/or Certified Emergency Manager (CEM) certification(s) preferred
- Relevant military experience is considered for veterans and transitioning service members
