Position is located at 75 N. East Ave., Fayetteville, AR 72701.

Hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm with ability to work additional hours as needed.

Preferred Qualifications are Commercial Construction experience and 3 years of direct construction project coordination or construction management experience.

Job Title: RED Project and Construction Coordinator

The RED (Real Estate Division) Project and Construction Coordinator at Arvest coordinates and oversees construction projects from inception to completion. They ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Key responsibilities include scheduling, budget tracking, internal and external resource allocation, and risk management. The RED Project and Construction Coordinator manages the architectural construction check sets through the review process and distributes comments back to the manager as required for compliance to standards. They review and evaluate construction drawings for egress, general code compliance, and reasonable design and construction detailing, including the review and coordination of construction check sets from external consultants. The RED Project and Construction Coordinator serves as a point of contact and communication for consultants, contractors, local banks, internal departments and AMO (Architectural Management Office) during the phases of construction projects.

What You’ll Do at Arvest: (Other duties may be assigned.)


  • Evaluate, select and apply architectural techniques, procedures and modifications to architectural construction documents from pre-construction through substantial completion.
  • Track and/or respond to design and construction project inquiries that may affect timelines, owner furnished items or compliance to standards.
  • Participate in jobsite meetings onsite or via conference call, provide input and direction for the local bank and consultants as a representative of AMO and help determine options for consideration and review. Disseminate critical construction project information as needed.
  • Manage the construction project coordination, develop project budgets and schedule, receive and review field reports, proposal requests, supplemental instructions and key submittals.
  • In collaboration with manager and project consultants, develop and maintain prototype management projects, Arvest graphic standards, master specifications and guidelines, manual updates, and revisions.
  • Create CAD (Computer Aided Design) templates and tools for AMO use.
  • Produce schematic plans, interior design packets, site schematics and/or construction bid packets on assigned construction projects.
  • Attend owner/architect meetings as a part of general construction project planning and/or development as assigned.
  • Understand and comply with bank policy, laws, regulations, and the bank's BSA/AML Program, as applicable to your job duties. This includes but is not limited to; complete compliance training and adhere to internal procedures and controls; report any known violations of compliance policy, laws, or regulations and report any suspicious customer and/or account activity.


Responsibilities:

Toolbox for Success:


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Architectural or Engineering field, or equivalent relevant education.
  • 3 years of experience in construction project coordination, or facility coordination.
  • AutoCAD and/or Revit experience.
  • Excellent organizational skills, ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and strong communication skills to liaise with various Arvest stakeholders, vendors, contractors, and team members.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes and best practices, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise.
  • A proactive and hands-on approach is critical to the successful delivery of construction projects.
  • Relevant military experience is considered for veterans and transitioning service members.


Preferred:


  • Experience with mechanical systems, telecommunications, security systems, bank equipment and/or purchasing.
  • License in Architecture, Construction or Engineering.


Physical Demands:

The associate must be able to travel frequently by themselves within the US, including overnight. Associates must be able to frequently navigate a construction site and access all areas of a facility. This includes but is not limited to the ability to work in and around all facilities spaces: below grade, rooftop, penthouse, unfinished spaces, crawl spaces and which access to may require climbing a ladder or using a lift.
