Position is based at 5201 Village Parkway, Rogers, AR 72758. Preferred location is within Northwest Arkansas, however i ncumbent can be located within the Arvest 4 State Footprint (AR, KS, MO, OK).

Hours are typically Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm with ability to work extra hours as needed.

Job Title: TM Emerging Sales Manager (ESM)

A TM Emerging Sales Manager (ESM) at Arvest is responsible for managing, supporting, and growing the ongoing sales of all TM product offerings to emerging businesses (referred to in the industry as micro and small business that typically have an annual sales size under $1 MM) and emerging commercial customers and prospects (that typically have an annual sales size under $5 MM). They motivate, develop, and guide the emerging sales team to meet goals and have the overall responsibility for generating TM revenue for the emerging customer segment and industry specialties within Arvest Bank. As a member of the TM Leadership Team, the ESM informs and executes TM strategies and works with others to ensure alignment and consistency across the TM group. They travel across the bank footprint or nationally as needed up to 75% of the time.

What You’ll Do at Arvest: (Other duties may be assigned.)


  • Lead, motivate, and manage a professional team to become experts at emerging business and emerging commercial treasury management process, procedure, and product. Increase revenue streams to achieve expected annual business results, by attracting new customers and growing existing customer relationships.
  • Plan and provide daily/ongoing sales coaching and development to all TM Emerging Sales Advisors and assigned TM Sales Specialists by monitoring sales calls and providing in person and/or virtual coaching. Effectively plan, organize, direct, analyze, and evaluate staffing on an ongoing basis, including acquiring top talent and managing performance-based issues. Focus on developing associates in alignment with their individual career goals.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to target emerging and mid-sized businesses for TM services.
  • Identify market opportunities, assess client needs and tailor solutions to meet their specific requirements.
  • Conduct market research, gather competitive intelligence, and stay updated on industry trends to inform sales strategies.
  • Collaborate with senior management to set and manage production goals for Emerging Business and Emerging Commercial Sales Advisors. Organize, direct, and implement marketing strategies and sales initiatives of TM products and services.
  • Engage with decision-makers and key stakeholders within emerging and mid-sized businesses to understand their TM needs. Adjust TM Sales staffing to best match strategies and optimize revenue growth while meeting budget expectations.
  • Establish and nurture strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor and building credibility through product knowledge and industry expertise.
  • Educate clients about the benefits and value of TM solutions, effectively communicating how they address their specific challenges and improve financial processes.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and proposals to showcase the features and capabilities of the TM offerings.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns and promotional materials for the emerging and mid-sized business segment.
  • Drive the sales culture by establishing and maintaining TM sales processes, procedures, and controls. This includes developing annual business plans with TM Emerging Business and Emerging Commercial Sales Advisors and assigned TM Sales Specialists; following strong inspection routines; ensuring opportunities are progressing timely, etc. This includes development and improvement of annual business plans for each Emerging Business and Emerging Commercial Sales Advisor. Ensure consistent communication with TM Commercial Sales Manager to create a pipeline of potential talent as well as facilitate and streamline process alignment where appropriate.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders including product management, operations, and marketing teams to ensure seamless delivery of TM solutions. Execute on all process, procedure, and policy required administrative tasks in an accurate and a timely manner; including appropriately identifying, managing, escalating, and mitigating risk as well as extensive use of ClientLink, our Salesforce based Customer Relationship Management tool.
  • Set and monitor sales targets, track progress, and provide regular reports to senior management, highlighting key metrics, achievements, and areas for improvement.
  • Establish a strong team dynamic, where peers are comfortable teaching and learning from each other, resulting in a culture of continuous personal development and process improvement.
  • Effectively recruit, inspire, and grow individual contributor talent by setting clear and actionable performance expectations, advocating for pay for performance strategies, and providing candid and relevant feedback, coaching and guidance.
  • Actively participate in (virtually or in-person) annual review meetings with each bank as part of overall TM Division review to reflect and plan for future TM success.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks and participating in professional societies.
  • Maintain knowledge and adherence to all federal and state regulations and Arvest Policy and Procedures.
  • Understand and comply with bank policy, laws, regulations, and the bank's BSA/AML Program, as applicable to your job duties. This includes but is not limited to; complete compliance training and adhere to internal procedures and controls; report any known violations of compliance policy, laws, or regulations and report any suspicious customer and/or account activity.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a business-related field (Finance, Economics, Accounting, etc.) or equivalent military or work experience required.
  • 10 years of sales experience required.
  • 7 years of management/leadership experience required.
  • Expert level knowledge of the Treasury Management discipline required.
  • Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) or Certified Cash Manager (CCM) designation or ability to obtain within 12 months required.
  • Proven track record of TM sales success and knowledge of how to drive success in the organization required.
  • Strong understanding of Risk Management discipline and how to balance risk mitigation with revenue generation required.
  • Ability to complete CFB 4 Commercial Banking Foundations and CFB4 Workshop for New Sales Managers within 6 months of hire required.
  • Proven track record of strong leadership skills to drive an environment of continuous process improvement required.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets and presentation software tools required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills with the ability to influence at all levels required.
  • Demonstrated ability to attract, develop and lead strong teams required.
  • Relevant military experience is considered for veterans and transitioning service members.
