Job Title: WACO Title Plant Manager
Under the direction of the assigned manager, the Title Plant Manager will oversee the title plant posting and software vendors to ensure the timely and accurate indexing of documents, instruments, plats, surveys, covenants, prior title policies and other matters pertaining to the title to real property into the company’s title plant database such that it may be properly researched in the course of the company’s business. In addition, the Title Plant Manager will plan, manage, and execute projects related to increasing the quality of existing data and images in the title plant as well as converting physical title plant media into digital assets. The Title Plant Manager will also be the primary interface with the company’s title plant subscribers.

What You’ll Do at Arvest: (Other duties may be assigned.)
- Organize and maintain the company’s physical and digital title plant records, ensuring accurate indexing, appropriate storage, and needs-appropriate accessibility for our title production teams, closing teams, and subscribers.
- Manage the company’s relationship with the title plant software vendor. Hold the software vendor accountable for maintaining, updating, and troubleshooting issues related to the software.
- Manage the company’s relationship with the title plant indexing vendor. Hold the vendor accountable for accuracy, timeliness, and completeness of postings in the title plant.
- Manage the company’s relationship with local government officials such as the county recorder of deeds, circuit clerks, and county clerks to maintain working access to the public records necessary to maintain the company’s title plants.
- Manage the company’s title plant subscription services and provide customer service to subscribers on an as-needed basis.
- Collaborate with the title operations teams to identify, plan, and manage projects to increase the efficiency of the title plant management process and/or to increase the efficiency of the title research process.
- Develop and maintain a working knowledge of automation and robotics options that may be applicable to the management of the company’s title plants.
- Develop and maintain a familiarity with relevant title plant regulations, licensures, and underwriting guidelines for the geographical areas covered by our title plants.
- Ensure that the company’s title plants meet statutory and regulatory definitions for the respective geographic areas covered by the plant data.
- Review and resolve complex title issues by analyzing historical records and property documents.
- Read documents and instruments in order to properly index them, as necessary.
- Scan image and tag/dock instruments in preparation for indexing, as necessary.
- Index and cross-index documents with real property descriptions so that the title to real property may be researched thoroughly and accurately, as necessary.
- Understand and comply with bank policy, laws, regulations, and the bank's BSA/AML Program, as applicable to your job duties. This includes but is not limited to; complete compliance training and adhere to internal procedures and controls; report any known violations of compliance policy, laws, or regulations and report any suspicious customer and/or account activity.

- 3 years of experience in title research, records management, or related roles within the title insurance industry required.
- Proficiency with title plant software and databases required.
