About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Pharmaceutical Research and Development Manager to join our team at ARx, LLC. As a key member of our R&D department, you will be responsible for designing and developing new pharmaceutical products, formulations, and technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Design and Strategy: Define project design and strategy consistent with application requirements, reviewing and sharing with project team members and others in the organization as needed.
- Formulation Development: Develop formulations and related product constructions, including selection of raw materials, experimental evaluations, and specifications.
- Laboratory Work: Conduct experiments on lab and production scale, drawing valid conclusions upon analysis of technical data from experimental testing.
- Test Methodologies: Define test methodologies and requirements, prepare test samples, and conduct tests on raw materials, in-process intermediates, and/or finished products.
- Technical Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot and solve technical problems efficiently, anticipating and proactively addressing potential issues during development.
- Team Collaboration: Participate in cross-functional teams chartered to develop and commercialize new drug delivery products, interacting effectively with functional counterparts and customers.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, or Polymer/Materials Science with 3 years of experience in pharmaceutical formulation or MS with 1-3 years of experience, or PhD with 0-2 years of experience.
- Knowledge of cGMP, 21CFR Part 211 required, QbD, PAT, and ICH experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to communicate fluently in English.
- Aptitude for chemical analytical techniques, i.e., liquid/gas chromatography, FT-IR, etc., and associated data analysis.
