As the Continuous Process Improvement Engineer, you are working as a member of a collaborative global continuous improvement team with demonstrated expertise in the use of various improvement methodologies to define and quantify both incremental and step change cost savings initiatives. In this role you are leading teams and teaching others various CI methodologies and are accountable to ensure projects provide defined and measurable savings on time and within budget.
Essential Job Functions :
- Work with site to implement operating discipline principles to provide consistent operations via the use of CI methodologies where appropriate.
- Provides expertise to define project feasibility and conceptual cost analysis along with input of technical risk.
- Lead technology evaluations where required and provide appropriate data for engineering and capex development.
- Teach, mentor and lead others in the appropriate use of various continuous improvement methodologies.
- Technical team representative in project meetings. Uses position to influence data driven decisions and adherence to committed cost and project timelines.
- Works with team to plan development work and can analyze data to reach conclusions for action.
- Responsible for the management of projects in his area.
