Arxada is looking for a Project Engineer II based in Conley, GA This is responsible for managing customer projects in the wood protection business. The Wood Engineering Team is part of the Commercial Team in Arxada's Wood Protection Business Unit.
Essential Job Functions :
- Research, design, or specify mechanical products, equipment, systems or processes to meet customer requirements.
- Prepare, present and explain proposals, reports, cost estimates and findings to clients.
- Commission, monitor, evaluate, or inspect the installation of systems for compliance with design. Accommodate, adapt and introduce changes to the design as required.
- Troubleshoot customer equipment & processes. Make suggestions based on sound engineering and best practices.
- Manage the coordination and overall integration of technical activities in engineering projects.
- Interact with vendors and third party engineers to supply equipment and services to customers.
- Utilize SAP to procure equipment and monitor project spending.
- Team player with excellent communication and active listening with co-workers, customers, and vendors.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
