The Regulatory Affairs Manager is responsible for a broad range of regulatory functions that include hazard communication, raw material compliance, and formula compliance for a growing Atlanta based fragrance and flavor manufacturer. The incumbent will be working closely with the R&D and Perfumery teams to ensure product compliance, with the sales team in support of customers, and will also get involved in industry advocacy efforts.

The incumbent will be working closely with the R&D and Perfumery teams to ensure product compliance, with the sales team in support of customers, and will also get involved in industry advocacy efforts.
Responsibilities
- The primary owner of system-supported regulatory compliance review of fragrance and flavor formulas with the support of other team members.
- The primary owner of raw material compliance review and documentation.
- Contributor of regulatory documentation for the customers including Safety Data Sheet.
- Contributor of data and report submissions to regulatory bodies and agencies.
- Continuing education via industry workshops, training and professional events to keep up to date on global regulations for fragrance and flavor materials.
- Representation on behalf of Arylessence in selective industry trade associations.
- Working knowledge and experiences of applicable federal and state regulations for fragrance and flavor materials.
- Working experience of system-supported formula compliance reviews.
- Demonstratable leadership experience and skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Bachelor’s degree in related science field is required.
- Minimum five years of related experience in a regulatory affairs organization is required.
- Education and knowledge in chemical toxicology is preferred.
