We are seeking dependable, team-oriented hospitality professionals - both in our kitchen and our dining room - who are driven to deliver our brand of Legendary Hospitality.
What will you do?
You will be a pivotal player in our team’s ability to deliver our promise of Legendary Hospitality to each and every guest that chooses to join us, whether in our home or in theirs. You will represent the first and last impression that our guests create around their experience with us, so your role is much more than just seating people and managing a waitlist. You will support our team by engaging guests in a way that is polite yet highly detailed, efficient yet authentically personable.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Deliver our promise of Legendary Hospitality
- Warmly welcome guests to and from our restaurant; open doors, assist with coats, offer guidance
- Manage a wait list and monitor for accuracy; offer cocktails and drinks during the wait
- Greet and escort customers to their tables; recognize Queso Club Loyalty Members for their visit
- Escort guests to assigned tables
- Provide menus to guests along with introduction to server; identify and thank Queso Club Loyalty Members
- Answer phone calls, field questions, direct guests to online ordering, etc.
- Assist service staff as necessary
Requirements
- Team player with proven hospitality experience as a host or similar service professional
- High-level listening and communication skills supported by strong organizational and multitasking skills
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment while standing/moving for several hours at a time
- Patience and cool-headedness
- Sales background is a plus
Compensation: Hourly
Compensation Range: Starting at $18/hr tips benefits (as outlined in Employee Handbook)
