The AS Beauty Demand Planning role supports the Planning Organization by supervising the monthly forecast across multiple brands and channels, providing insights to risk and growth opportunities, and providing analysis of the current business to help increase productivity and drive future sales growth. The Planner will own a monthly demand review and consensus process with key stakeholders. Additionally, they will be responsible for launch planning and consolidating launch forecasts, recommending launch order quantities, and inventory strategy.
This role is 4 days in-office with 1 WFH day.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Heavy data analytics : consolidating forecasts by SKU by sales channel and analyzing actual sales relative to the forecast to identify risks and opportunities.
- Experience working across ECOMM and Amazon, preferred
- Monthly forecast review across multiple brands and sales channels.
- Monthly demand review meetings across multiple sales channels including key stakeholders.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to reach consensus on monthly forecasts by category, accounting for trend, seasonality, and promotional activity.
- Ensure forecast alignment between sales plan and financial plan.
- Monthly review of forecast accuracy, bias, and trend to ensure forecasts are being adjusted accordingly and proactively.
- Accountable for cross-collaborating and managing master data required for planning.
- Ensure forecasts are reflective of the latest SKU assortment dictated by Sales Strategy. This includes ensuring SKU level forecasts are aligned with launch and discontinuation timing.
- Manage risk to excess and obsolete by proactively reviewing inventory stock position and root cause analysis.
- Measure supply planning KPIs to improve and exceed business objectives pertaining to the Planning organization, including Inventory and Excess.
