The Performance Designer will be instrumental in creating high-impact performance assets across social platforms. This individual will execute creative work for a wide range of briefs (from UGC to branded assets) and implement ongoing improvements to optimize the customer journey and drive measurable results.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of performance metrics and KPIs, with the ability to combine creative expertise and analytics to drive results. They will focus on performance optimization through targeted KPIs, prioritizing a mobile-first, user-centric, and emotionally resonant approach. This role is perfect for a proactive, innovative thinker who thrives in fast-paced environments and adapts to evolving priorities while staying current with industry trends. The Performance Designer will report directly to the Senior Director of Creative Performance.
Salary Range: $70,000-$85,000 Per Year
Responsibilites
- Ad Creative Development: Craft platform-specific ad creatives (static, video, carousel) for Meta, Google, and other channels, continuously optimizing designs based on performance feedback and A/B testing
- Data-Driven Design: Knowledge performance metrics, user insights, and innovative techniques to refine designs, focusing on measurable outcomes such as conversion rates, engagement, and average order value
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with growth, marketing teams, and leadership to ensure cohesive, functional, and goal-aligned creative assets across all campaigns
- User-Centric Focus: Design intuitive, emotionally appealing content that aligns with the customer journey, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience across touchpoints
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Digital Media, Marketing, or a related field preferred
- 5-7 years of experience with Graphic/Web Design in an eCommerce Marketing or agency Environment
- Experience in and/or Knowledge of the Beauty Industry is a plus
- Deep understanding of ad formats and guidelines for Meta (e.g., Stories, Reels, Feed Ads), Pinterest, Google, and others
- Proficiency in design software such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator,
- After Effects, XD), Sketch, or similar UI/UX design tools
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word & Excel) and Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Sheets)
- Experience with Asana or other project management softwares
- Understanding of layout, typography, color theory, and branding
- Fluent in English, spoken and written
- Excellent comprehension and communication skills
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and work on multiple projects concurrently
