Job Overview: Sales & Operations Coach will assist in overseeing and improving hotel performance on assigned locations, serving as a link between hotels and the corporate office to ensure alignment with company goals. Primary function also serves as Coach for Sales teams at all locations as "Hunter" mentality, with a strong capability to help Sales Managers expand and grow new accounts and drive new business to the properties.
Reports to: Director of Operations
Sales & Operations Coach Essential Tasks:
- OPERATIONALLY - Coach will:
- Work with hotel managers to hire, train, schedule, coach and support sales associates, ensuring they perform in accordance with established brand or hotel standards and consistent with As One Management core values.
- Provide guidance and support to hotel General Managers to achieve operational excellence in areas such as guest satisfaction, financial performance, and staff development.
- Work with HR to foster a collaborative and positive work environment across all properties.
- Monitor daily operations of multiple hotel properties to ensure high standards of service and efficiency by coaching General Managers.
- Evaluate, Implement and monitor operational policies and procedures to maintain consistency and quality.
- Collaborate with the Director of Operations to develop and execute strategic initiatives.
- Participate in the budget making process.
- Ensure alignment of property operations with corporate goals and objectives.
- Act as the primary point of contact between hotel properties and the corporate office.
- Communicate corporate policies, updates, and initiatives to GMs/Sales Managers and ensure their implementation.
- SALES:
- Monitor Marketing Plan process and coach areas of improvement.
- Monitor group and meeting goals to ensure goals are met successfully.
- Ensure Secret Shop calls are held 2x a year and monitor/implement training needs.
- Monitor financial performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue enhancement.
- Conduct online visibility audits to ensure optimum presence.
- Educate, coach, and communicate with management team regarding sales and revenue driven activities
- CNR/LNR audits and performance management of accounts.
- Attend local events and trade shows as needed.
- Run Sales L10 meetings 1x a week and quarterly in-person sessions.
- Ops & Sales
- Report on forces that shift tactical budgets and strategic direction of accounts
- Promote professional development and career growth opportunities for hotel employees.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
- Work with the Director of Ops and HR team to ensure smooth operations and minimize exposures.
- Perform other duties as requested by Director of Operations.
Your Background and Skills
- Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- CHSP designation preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in hotel management, with at least 3 years in a sales leadership role.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Math and Computer Literacy
- Proven ability to manage properties and drive operational excellence.
- Financial acumen and experience with budgeting and financial analysis.
- Ability to travel frequently to various hotel locations.

Work Environment and Context
