Automotive Quality Engineer (Metals Experience)

About the Role:

As an Automotive Quality Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring that our quality assurance program meets the highest standards. Your expertise in statistical analysis, precision measurement, and process capability studies will be critical as you work closely with our program management and launch teams.

Key Responsibilities:

- New Part Launch & Engineering Changes: Participate in the launch of new parts and engineering changes to address quality issues effectively.

- Development & Leadership: Lead the development of PFMEA’s, control plans, and flow diagrams in collaboration with the program management and launch team.

- Corrective Actions: Drive corrective action activities, including root cause analysis and ensuring timely implementation and reporting to customers and management.

- Customer & Supplier Interaction: Act as a key point of contact with customers and suppliers for launch activities, corrective actions, and visits, including travel as needed.

- Improvement Projects: Lead and conduct improvement projects such as DOE’s, Shainin Red X, and others to enhance processes and meet customer, supplier, and internal requirements.

- RFMEA Activities: Collaborate with Engineering and Production teams on RFMEA activities, mistake-proofing audits, and improvements.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering

- Strong background in statistical analysis, precision measurement, and process capability studies

- A result-driven problem solver with a self-directed approach

- Excellent team worker with outstanding communication skills
