Cell Phone Repair Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mobile Phone Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical support and equipment repair, with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues related to mobile devices. This role involves working with various operating systems, including Android and iOS, and requires proficiency in using hand tools for repairs. The technician will also provide exceptional customer service in a retail environment, ensuring that all clients receive the best possible support for their mobile technology needs.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues on mobile devices, including smartphones and tablets.
• Perform repairs on various mobile devices using hand tools and soldering techniques as necessary.
• Provide technical support to customers regarding operating systems such as Mac OS, Android, and Windows.
• Assist customers with retail sales of mobile accessories and devices, ensuring they understand product features and benefits.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols during equipment repair tasks.
• Stay updated on the latest technology trends and advancements in mobile devices to provide informed recommendations to customers.
• Document all repairs and customer interactions accurately in the system for record-keeping purposes.

Experience

• Proven experience in technical support or equipment repair, particularly with mobile phones or similar devices. Motherboard and polishing technique experience a plus but will train the right person.
• Familiarity with various operating systems, including iOS, Android, and Windows.
• Experience in retail sales is a plus, with strong customer service skills.
• Proficiency in using hand tools for repairs and soldering is highly desirable.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers and understand their needs.

Pay: $19.58 - $21.29 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
