OVERVIEWThe Art Director is responsible for leading and producing creative visual content and leading SMPS and the SMPS Foundation in its brand and visual identity. The key responsibilities include developing and executing long- and short-range brand awareness strategies; coordinating with staff across the organization to promote our member products and services; overseeing the development and distribution of social media materials, news releases, and other communications; directing the design, production, and publication of print and online materials.This individual will report to the Vice President, Marketing and help support the marketing and event team with deliverables that support their products and services as well as be the point of contact for third party vendors who produce designed deliverables. This candidate will sit in on all strategic meetings around the organization’s strategic direction and positioning as well as current and new product development to offer insights and ideation around the visualization of the brand and products.
