Job Description : About the Role
Daramic is seeking a global logistics analyst to join its team in Charlotte, NC. This position will be responsible for overseeing the execution of Daramic's global logistics operations with a focus on international logistics. The ideal candidate will have strong background in international logistics, specifically ocean freight, and will possess the analytical ability to maximize the value created through Daramic's global logistics footprint. This will involve coordination directly with ocean carriers, freight forwarders, and regional supply chain leaders as we seek to provide cost-effective logistics solutions to meet customer needs.
Reporting Relationships
This position directly reports to the manager of US customer service and does not supervise others.

Working Environment
General office environment. Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require standing and walking for up to 10% of the time. Lighting and temperature is adequate. Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard equipment available. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and / or a negligible amount to force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
Must be able to work with a global team, including meetings which take place outside of normal US working hours.
