Clinic Support Specialist APP (Work Health)
Additional Position Details: FTE: 1.000000 | Full Time | Monday-Friday 0800-1700 (8am-5pm)
Position Summary
The Clinic Support Specialist is responsible for clerical operation of the clinic/department and supports excellent care of our patients we serve. Under direction of a Practice/Dept. Manager they are responsible for coordinating the administrative operations of an assigned clinic including medical record processing, routing medical correspondences, ordering supplies, and being the clinic's point of contact for Workers Compensation Insurance carriers, community employers, and patients.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in physician office administrative support including front desk operations, appointment scheduling, registration, check-in/out and patient relations.
- 1 year of experience working with an EMR system.
- 1 year of Medical Records handling experience with a strong understanding of HIPAA and Workers Compensation laws.
Education
- High School diploma or equivalent, required
- Associate's Degree, required
