Position Summary
The Dietary Clerk performs a variety of clerical related duties involving patient menus according to standard procedures; distributes and collects completed selective menus for patients; and tallies menu items as needed. Also communicates with the floor's nursing units as needed
Qualifications
Education
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience demonstrating the ability to effectively communicate as required for the position
Experience
- Minimum one year of experience in food service, preferably in a restaurant or institution, is required
Certifications
ONE of the following is required:
- Oregon Food Handler Card issued by an agency approved by Oregon Department of Health
- ServSafe Certification issued by the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation
- Valid food manager training certificate
