Job Summary
The Director of Total Rewards provides strategic design, direction, execution, and ongoing management of Asante's total rewards programs. This role ensures that programs meet employee needs, are aligned with organizational objectives, benefit and compensation strategies, and operations are compliant with federal/state laws and regulations. Focuses on creating an exceptional employee culture through a Total Rewards strategy that emphasizes recruitment and retention. Scope of responsibility includes benefits, compensation, and human resource information systems (HRIS).
Job Requirements
- 5 years' progressive Human Resources leadership experience providing broad knowledge of Total Rewards.
- Demonstrated knowledge of current regulatory requirements and standards relating to the function of Human Resource and Total Rewards management.
- Thorough knowledge of federal and state employment law.
- Client based consulting experience including leadership development and organization design.
- Ability work effectively in a labor/management partnership environment.
Required
Bachelor's degree in human resource management, business, health care management or related field.
Preferred
- Master's degree in human resources, business, healthcare management or related field strongly preferred
- HR Professional certification such as SHRM-CP: Society for Human Resources Management Certified Professional or PHR, SPHR
- CCP: Certified Compensation Professional, CBP and/or CEBS: Certified Employee Benefits Specialist
RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and maintain strong partnerships with clients; vice presidents, managers, and supervisors to achieve Asante's vision, values, and strategic goals.
Monitor business units for their effectiveness and efficiencies related to personnel management (i.e., performance management, hiring trends, turnover, employee surveys, employee relations trends), recommending department improvements.
Analyze and project manage process improvements to achieve Asante HR indicator/metric targeted goals and accountabilities throughout the organization; participates in cross-functional teams.
Support implementation of organization-wide communications, process initiatives and program rollouts to ensure continuity and ease of administration.
Act as liaison between human resource department and client departments to ensure effective integration of HR services, processes, and programs. Client feedback and peer reviews will constitute key performance measures.
Works within an integrated Human Resources system to provide solutions to organizational needs.
Partners with other members of the HR Leadership team to understand organizational needs and to apply solutions that have the big picture in mind.
Communicates and coordinates activities with other HR Department functions to provide quality decisions/recommendations as well as efficient services.
