Quality Control Program Coord (Hospice Services)
Job Summary
The Quality Control Program Coordinator is responsible for developing and implementing quality management procedures and systems to include quality monitoring and assurance to ensure that all services are free from any errors and patient care is of the highest quality. Provides guidance in the tools and techniques of quality assurance, performance improvement and assists in the integration of quality initiatives. May have oversight responsibilities to implement and ensure the ongoing success of ISO 9000 Quality Management System.
Position Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in education and/or experience is required
- Master's degree is preferred.
License/Certification
- RN: Registered Nurse licensed by the Oregon State Board of Nursing is required
Experience
- Previous healthcare experience providing a strong working knowledge of the healthcare operations for inpatient and outpatient services
- 2 years board based acute clinical nursing experience. Knowledge of homecare, hospice and performance improvement techniques
