Job Summary
The Strategic Planning Coordinator will drive alignment and implementation of key strategic initiatives across the health system in partnership with Strategy leadership and organizational stakeholders. This role will ensure all aspects of the enterprise strategy are developed and implemented in a way that aligns with business goals and prioritizes business growth and impact. Key responsibilities will be leading and contributing to a variety of initiatives intended to improve and advance approaches, processes, partnerships, and products. This entails organizing, facilitating, and driving the work and deliverables of multiple, complex projects or programs, from conceptualization to execution. This vital role has the opportunity to shape and deliver new innovation which positively impacts the business and the populations we serve.
Job Requirements
5 years leadership experience in program or project management or relevant operational leadership. Experience in developing coordinated strategies to carry-out multi-year strategic plans for complex organizations and for complex programs with a high degree of interdependence. Experience working with subject matter experts, individually and through committees, to assess, define and implement focused change management.
Required:
Bachelor's degree in business management, health care management or related field
Preferred:
PMP: Project Management Professional
Master's degree in related field
Responsibilities
Strategic Planning Leadership
Manage the implementation of multiple Strategic Plan related projects
Coordinate the system Provider Strategy Group and maintains the 3 year provider recruitment plan.
Coordinate Strategic Workplan progress updates
Participates the Resource and Priority Team meeting.
Support of Project Management Office Model
The model will drive improved efficiencies and effectiveness of our project planning and implementation.
The model will add consistency and professional project management capabilities across the network and reduce redundancies.
The model will optimize organizational learning and sharing best practices.
The model will shorten implementation times and enhance our time to market for new products.
The model will set the direction and tempo for Lean Strategy Deployment.
Project Management
Serves as a project manager for strategic, system, projects
Demonstrates project management expertise to drive projects to an on-time, on budget, deployment.
Maintains and advances project management office methodology, processes, and tools, management of scope, issues, risks, work plans, communications, resources and budgets across multiple simultaneous projects.
Implements the use of best practice project management approaches and tools to ensure the highest level of confidence in evaluation of project progress.
Establishes trusted partner relationships.
