Additional Position Details: FTE: 0.600000 | Part Time | 3rd Shift - Nights
As a CNA at Asante, you will have the opportunity to earn the following shift differentials:
- $1.21 extra per hour for hours worked between 3:00pm-11:00pm
- $2.05 extra per hour for hours worked between 11:00pm-7:00am
- $1.05 extra per hour for hours worked on weekend shifts
For this role, candidates at either the CNA-1 or the CNA-2 level will be considered
CNA-1: Typical Starting Range is $18.10 and up (based on years of relevant experience). Bump in pay upon obtaining CNA-2 license.
CNA-2:Typical Starting Range is $19.27 and up (based on years of relevant experience)
Position SummaryA Certified Nursing Assistant is responsible and accountable for their practice for assigned patient(s), contributing to the utilization of the nursing process, under the supervision and direction of the RN and performs all duties in accordance with department policies and procedures and scope of practice. What You'll Do
- Become a vital member of the patient care team and build a strong relationship with the CNA2s and RNs
- Promote patient safety and comfort while actively participating in patient satisfaction
- Demonstrate advanced Responsive Observations knowledge base in practice of care
- Document patient and family responses and effectiveness of teaching and interventions per department standards
- Provide excellent communication between staff and patients and patient families
- Promote and maintain Asante's Vision and Values
What You Must Have
- Either a CNA-2 or CNA-1 certified by the Oregon State Board of Nursing (OSBN) required upon start
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certified by the American Heart Association (AHA) required upon start
Work Environment/Physical Requirements
This position requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis - such as transferring a patient in and out of a bed. The ability to bend, stretch, twist and perform other awkward physical movements is also required.
