All our technicians are highly trained, exceeding state requirements with advanced certifications in MRI, CT, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, and bone density scanning. Our imaging program is supervised by a board-certified radiologist who works directly with technicians at the hospital to interpret test results and offer guidance on complex cases.
Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center (ARRMC) features one of the most technologically advanced imaging environments in the Pacific Northwest, as well as one of the most capable teams of physicians, nurses, technologists, and support staff in the country. Asante Imaging provides the most comprehensive breast health services in Jackson and Josephine Counties including stereo tactic breast biopsies, comprehensive breast imaging and Computer Aided Detection (CAD). We are fully wired to accommodate digital mammography.
The Mammography Tech at Asante's Imaging Center performs various mammographic and radiographic procedures used in diagnosis and treatment of disease, requiring independent and professional judgment, according to established standards and practices. In this role, the Mammography Tech has responsibility for designated assignments and performs related work as required or requested. Duties are delegated in relation to the degree of training and in accordance with the policies of Asante and respective to state laws governing such action and activities.
What You Must Have
- BLS: Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider certified by the American Heart Association (AHA) is required upon start.
- Licensed in Radiography by the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) with certification in Mammography (M) required.
- If the license by the OBMI is in transition of renewal, the certification part of the license may need to be verified by the appropriate national agency: ARRT, ARDMS, ARMRIT, CCI or NMTCB.
- Bachelor's degree in Radiology or equivalent, preferred.
