Position Summary
The Manager of Radiation Oncology is responsible for all clinical, clerical, and administrative staff. The manager of radiation therapy works closely with Cancer Services leadership and Radiation Oncologists in promotion of ongoing quality, compliance, and efficiency for the department. Duties include daily clinic operations, technical billing charges, IT liaison, productivity monitoring, budgeting, staffing, patient satisfaction improvements, patient and staff rounding, employee evaluations, departmental policy writing and review, active involvement in hospital radiation safety committee, maintaining compliance with DNV or any hospital accrediting body, active involvement in hospital cancer care committee, departmental contracting needs, and other managerial duties that may apply.
Position Qualifications
Experience
- 5 years of progressive experience in radiation therapy, required
- Demonstration of leadership training and skills plus dosimetry experience are desirable
Education
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent, required
Certification/Licensure
- Basic Life Support, required
One of the following certifications/licensures are required
- Licensed in Radiography by Oregon Board of Medical Imaging
- (OBMI)Licensed in Radiation Therapy by Oregon Board of Medical Imaging
- (OBMI)Licensed in Sonography by Oregon Board of Medical Imaging
- (OBMI)Licensed in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) by Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI)
Salary : $116,688 - $175,032
