Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated Banquet Manager to oversee all aspects of banquet operations at their award-winning resort and country club in southern New Hampshire. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities :
- Event Coordination : Plan, coordinate, and execute all banquet events, including weddings, corporate functions, and social gatherings. Ensure all details are managed to provide a seamless experience for clients and guests.
- Staff Management : Recruit, train, and supervise banquet staff, ensuring high levels of performance and customer service. Schedule and manage staff shifts to meet event requirements.
- Customer Relations : Work closely with clients to understand their needs and preferences. Provide personalized service to ensure their events exceed expectations.
- Budget Management : Oversee banquet budgets, manage costs, and ensure profitability of events. Handle billing and financial reporting for banquet operations.
- Vendor Coordination : Liaise with external vendors (e.g., florists, decorators, entertainment) to ensure timely and efficient delivery of services.
- Quality Control : Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and service throughout all banquet areas. Conduct regular inspections and implement improvements as necessary.
- Compliance : Ensure all banquet operations comply with health, safety, and licensing regulations.
- Problem Solving : Address and resolve any issues or complaints that arise during events promptly and effectively.
