Job Overview:
As a Project Manager, you will oversee the installation process for all commercial door projects, ensuring that each job is executed efficiently, on time, and with the utmost attention to detail. You will work closely with our operations and warehouse teams to ensure materials, scheduling, and communications are managed effectively, all while upholding our core values. This is a key role that directly impacts customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Daily Duties:
- Review prior day’s installations, including photos, videos, notes, and identify any further work needed. Ensure payment collection.
- Perform "happy calls" and send customer satisfaction surveys for all completed installations, demonstrating our commitment to excellence and customer care.
- Add new sales information to Monday.com and send introduction emails, acting with integrity and transparency.
- Order materials within 24 hours of job approval or deposit receipt and verify that material costs align with estimates.
- Upload all notes, purchase orders, and relevant documents to Monday.com, maintaining clear and accurate records.
- Ensure any necessary submittals are completed and sent to the customer within 48 hours.
- Review and verify installation statistics for accuracy each day to drive operational excellence. Ensure jobs are in budget.
- Attend the Daily Scheduling Meeting to review and coordinate the next day's schedule, collaborating effectively with the team.
- Work with the Warehouse Manager to ensure materials are properly staged for the following day.
- Monitor the dispatch board to ensure installers are clocking in and out properly and notify clients of any schedule changes.
- Book jobs efficiently, ensuring material stays in the warehouse for no more than 48 hours, and coordinate with subcontractors when needed.
- Send reminders for next-day appointments and ensure all necessary equipment is ordered.
- Prepare the ASAP Install Checklist for new projects.
- Print any required paperwork for next day installations.
Weekly Duties:
- Review all projects in Monday.com and send email updates to customers on the status of their projects, reflecting our commitment to communication and excellence.
- Meet with the Operations Manager to review install statistics and set action plans, continuously striving for improvements and learning.
Monthly Duties:
- By the 5th of each month, input installation projections for the month and share them with the management team.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in project management, preferably in the construction or commercial door industry.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Monday.com, Excel, etc.).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with commercial door products and installation processes is a plus.
- A positive attitude, commitment to continuous learning, and a passion for striving toward excellence.
Hours are 8am - 5pm - In Office.
