We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Pre-Press Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and processing digital files for print production, ensuring accuracy, quality, and efficiency. Key Responsibilities:
- Review and prepare digital files for print production
- Perform pre-flight checks to ensure files meet printing specifications
- Adjust and optimize artwork for various printing processes
- Create proofs for client approval
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure timely and accurate printing
- Troubleshoot and resolve any pre-press issues
- Maintain and update pre-press software and processes
- 2 years of experience in a pre-press role within the printing industry
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat)
- Proficiency in Enfocus Products (Pitstop, Switch)
- Proficiency in at least one VDP package (eg, XMPie, FusionPro, or other)
- Strong understanding of printing processes and color management
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- 2 years of experience in a pre-press role within the printing industry
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat)

This opportunity is for a fulltime, on-site position in our Sterling VA HQ. We are able to discuss hybrid work hours, to minimize commuting time.
We may be able to consider an applicant with extraordinary skills and workflow automation experience who would work remotely.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
