Accounting Administrator
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Accounts Receivable (A/R):
- Follow up with customers via email and phone to collect outstanding invoices, ensuring timely payments before reaching 90 days past due.
- Resolve any billing issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain up-to-date vendor compliance status for all customers.
- Process weekly payroll for temporary employees and other payroll-related tasks as needed.
- Submit new and existing customer accounts for credit evaluations.
- Approve and create work orders as required.
- Collect timesheets when necessary to facilitate accurate payroll processing.
- Address any payroll-related issues or inquiries promptly.
- Ensure timecards are scanned and submitted to the factoring company promptly after payroll is completed.
- Maintain up-to-date employee verification records.
- Collaborate with management to recommend improvements to the efficiency and quality of the accounting department's processes.
- Assist with additional administrative tasks as needed.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work with a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment.
