Join our client's team as a Processing Production Manager!
Your mission will be to lead our Induction Heat Treat facility and play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility and the delivery of high-quality products.
This is a position set to be performed on-site in Robstown, TX.
Experience Requirements
- 10 years of experience in OCTG or metal manufacturing.
- Preferred background in maintenance reliability programs
- A passion for problem-solving and continuous improvement.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and improvement methodologies
- History of managing Lean Six Sigma process improvement projects and tools
Education Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Bilingual is a plus.
- Preferred Lean Six Sigma Black belt
Responsibilities
- Responsible for evaluating the production and manufacturing processes and identify areas of improvement to enhance the quality of deliverables and maximize the staff's productivity
- Develop cost-efficient techniques and resources that would meet the budget limitations and business requirements
- Handle the resolution for process failures and coordinate with the departments for immediate solutions to avoid its reoccurrence
- Pioneer SPC program including implementation of methodologies for corrective action
- Lead cross-functional teams to execute Lean Six Sigma, or other improvement methodologies.
- Implement SPC procedures to monitor production process and system stability
- Direct team building and Kaizen events to reduce manufacturing costs and optimize new business opportunities
- Resolve complex technical challenges to ensure efficient operations and compliance with standards.
- Conduct risk assessments and failure mode effects analysis (FMEA)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, maintenance, and quality, to identify and address process and product issues
- Travel to South Texas facilities 35-40%
