Client Summary : ASAP is recruiting to help a Global Chemical Manufacturing client hire a talented IT Manager. This role reports to a Sr. Director within the organization and is instrumental in helping lead and manage a team and also set strategy and build best-practices within the company as they evolve from a "reactive" state to a "pro-active" state. The role is a Full-Time employee in a 3 / 2 hybrid role. Meaning any 3 days of your choosing is "on-site" at company offices near Pasadena in SE Houston. 2 days of your choosing can be from your home-office.
Successful Candidate Profile :
- 8-10 years in Information Technology with 3 in a Manager or Leadership role.
- Early career in Infrastructure, LAN / WAN, Systems Engineering, Data Center Consolidation, ITIL, PMP and broad background in ERP (SAP, Oracle), CRM (Salesforce), Enterprise Architecture, Cloud (AWS, Azure), etc.
- Internal Stakeholder Management - ability to bridge the gap between IT staff, IT leadership, and the business community within a large global company.
- Understand current-state and help create a 1-3 year roadmap for the future-state.
- 24x7x365 support teams related to MS Exchange, O365, Microsoft Servers, Network Engineering Teams (Cisco switches, routers, hubs), Cisco VoIP and other related skill sets may report to or work closely with this role.
