We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Sales and Distribution (SD) Functional Consultant to join our team in Lisle, IL. This position requires expertise in implementing SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud, with a proven track record of delivering 2-3 successful projects. The ideal candidate will work onsite at our Lisle office, collaborating closely with our project teams to deliver high-quality solutions for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP S/4HANA Sales and Distribution (SD) processes, focusing on Public Cloud solutions.
- Gather and analyze business requirements, providing functional specifications to align with client objectives.
- Configure and customize SAP SD modules to meet customer-specific needs, including order-to-cash, pricing, billing, shipping, and sales processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SD with other SAP modules (e.g., MM, FI, PP).
- Identify and address gaps in existing processes, recommending solutions and best practices.
- Provide end-user training, create documentation, and ensure smooth go-live and post-go-live support.
- Participate in project planning, timeline estimation, and status reporting.
- Stay updated on SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud innovations and apply them to client projects.
Requirements
- Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP SD.
- 2-3 successful SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud implementation projects.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA Sales and Distribution processes and capabilities in Public Cloud.
- Proficient in configuration of pricing, order management, billing, and shipping.
- Familiarity with integration points between SD and other SAP modules (e.g., MM, FI, PP).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to recommend process improvements.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
- Experience in preparing functional specifications and documentation.

- Certifications:
- SAP S/4HANA certification in Sales and Distribution is a plus.
