POSITION OVERVIEW Entry level position works with hand tools and small equipment to maintain the mill and surrounding area. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS · Work safely around moving equipment while using required safety equipment. · Use of hand shovel. · Use of general hand tools. · Assist in all clean up throughout property as required. · Use of small front end loader for cleanup when needed. · Various duties as assigned. · Trained on forklifts · Other duties assigned KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES · Must be able to work in areas that are loud, dusty, wet and cramped. · Must be able to lift 50 lbs. · Must be able to work rotating shifts (nights and days). · Must be able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructional and procedural manuals. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE · High School Diploma or GED required. · Current, valid driver’s license.
