Job Title: Production Worker

Job Location: Sunbury PA

Position: Hourly

Reports To: Shift foreman

Manages: No direct reports

Job Overview:

The production/utility operator is responsible for following procedures for product manufacturing, equipment operation, and safety requirements as documented in the company’s quality system.

Roles & Responsibilities:

· Must be able to handle the physical activities of the job, including lifting and stacking up to 50 pound bags, packing and moving drums and other containerized materials.

· Read and follow written instructions.

· Abide by the safety rules of the plant.

· Maintain the cleanliness of the work area.

· Operate forklifts in a safe manner, as needed.

· Organize the production area to maintain the quality of the product and condition of the packaging.

· Move materials from storage to production, and from production to storage as needed.

· Operate Pack Out machines and identify material as directed in the production control plan

· Pull samples as directed in the production control plan

· Other special tasks as required by plant management.

Preferred Experience/skills:

· Ability to speak, read and write English.

· Demonstrate the ability to learn the tasks introduced through on-the-job training.

• Prefer a minimum of high school diploma or GED.
• Experience in manufacturing operations or equivalent.

Working conditions

· Work environment is an industrial environment which requires PPE, provided by the company.

· May include special working conditions as noted below:

o Special working conditions cover a range of circumstances from regular evening and weekend work, shift work, working outdoors, working with challenging climates, and so forth.

Physical requirements

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.29 - $19.79 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
