Job Overview
We are seeking a talented Organist/Pianist to join our church family. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to site read hymns, and will be responsible for providing live piano accompaniment for a small choir each Sunday morning.
Duties
- Perform live music for rehearsals and on Sunday service.
- Collaborate with Pastor and choir director, and other musicians to create pleasing musical arrangements for church service.
- Attend rehearsals regularly to ensure familiarity with the hymns for the current and subsequent weeks as known. Practice may potentially be only on Sunday prior to service.

Experience
- Proven experience as a Pianist, preferably in a church, theater or performing arts environment.
- Strong proficiency in playing christian music, either on an organ or a piano.
- Ability to read sheet music fluently.
- A background in music education or formal training is a plus but not mandatory.
