Qualifications:

· At least four years of experience in live audio and video environments (including experience generating graphics for event titles, transitions, and other required assets.)

· Strong and proven experience/knowledge in live production, including multi-camera production, live streaming events, webcasts, and webinars.

· Technical knowledge of all aspects of video editing, including importing content, working with a variety of compression formats, basic audio sweetening, and noise reduction.

· Experience in management and creation of online based events using single or multiple (simultaneous) distribution platforms such as YouTube Live, Facebook Live, Instagram Live, and Vimeo Livestream.

· Experience with streaming software (including vMix and OBS).

· Experience editing with a video editor (e.g. Adobe Premier or similar, Asbury is an Adobe shop).

· Experience using a graphics editor (such as PhotoShop) to create graphics and sizing photos.

· Proven capabilities with the creation of master project plan including event timeline and overall program agenda(s).

· Confidence and composure to troubleshoot technical issues in real-time.

· Experience leading a technical team.

· Strong communication skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Plans, directs, shoots, edits and produces weekly video content for weekly Sunday worship services, ministries and special events in livestream and/or pre-recorded format.

· Manages concurrent work streams with both technical and design teams on the creation of the event within the desired platform(s).

· Produces videos that highlight the story, mission, and purpose of Asbury, and communicates the value of the ministry to its members, the community, and the world.

· Collaborates with pastors and ministries to develop strategies for integrating video segments into the worship services, lectures, teaching and other communications.

· Maintains/Manages streaming channels.

o Schedules and streams all services on YouTube (Sunday morning worship, special events and funerals)

o Schedules Sunday morning worship services on Facebook

o Streams vMix to Zoom

o Updates Thumbnails

o Posts pastor’s sermons and special music separately

o Pre-records, edits and posts Children’s Moments monthly

· Maintains and operates two complete suites of interconnected audio/visual capture and distribution equipment for the sanctuary and fellowship hall. Responsible for software updates and hardware repairs. Prepares annual budget for Production Ministry and submits purchase requests to keep the system performing as designed.

o The video production system includes but is not limited to the following:

§ Netgear M series subnetwork switch

§ vMix Production Software running on Windows 10 Pro based PC

§ Focusrite audio interface

§ 3 PTZ NDI cameras

§ 1 Mobile Professional camera with a Birddog mini NDI encoder/decoder

§ Hollyland wireless video link

§ USB Video Capture cards

§ NDI connectivity throughout the building

o Audio production includes but is not limited to the following:

§ Allen-Health Q-24

§ Yamaha

· Maintains and organizes an archive of recorded events both locally and cloud-based.

· Stays abreast of current and emerging trends in video production and story-telling.

· Assesses current and future technology needs and creates acquisition strategies.

· Recruits, leads, and provides ongoing training and development of a team of paid staff and/or volunteers.

· Participates in Communications Ministry meetings to craft creative and engaging worship services and events.

· Candidate must have experience or come up to speed quickly with the Adobe Suite of products to include but not limited to Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and Acrobat. After Effects is a plus.

· Candidate must have experience of come up to speed quickly with vMix to include its NDI functionality.

· Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Reporting Relationships:

· Reports to Senior Pastor and works closely with the Communications Ministry Director and Consulting Producer.

· Team leader for Audio/Video Tech and volunteer

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • Weekends only
