The Human Resources Information Systems Analyst is the primary owner of the Human Capital Management system. This individual ensures the highest level of customer service in answering level 1 service requests, adherence to project schedules, maintains a systems orientation and can work effectively with peers to set technology priorities and conduct long-term planning. This position also serves as a technical point-of-contact for assigned functional area and assists subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities.

Duties/Responsibilities
  • Manages the service request ticketing system as the first level of support for our team members inquires about the HCM
  • Manages projects/process improvement, including applying change management experience to facilitate movement to new levels of quality
  • Identifies and understands issues, problems and opportunities throughout the HCM system
  • Compares data from different sources to draw conclusions
  • Uses these data to build project plans and ensure adherence to schedule and other specifications
  • Recommends process/customer service improvements, innovative solutions, policy changes and/or major variations from established policy, which must be approved by appropriate leadership prior to implementation
  • Performs system maintenance, including assisting in the review, testing and implementation of HRIS system upgrades or patches
  • Collaborates with functional and technical staff to coordinate application of upgrade or fix
  • Documents process and results
  • Supports HCM upgrades, patches, testing and other technical projects as assigned
  • Provides production support, including researching and resolving HRIS problems, unexpected results or process flaws; performing scheduled activities; recommending solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements
  • Generates reports/queries, including writing maintaining and supporting a variety of reports or queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools
  • Assists in development of standard reports for ongoing customer needs
  • Helps maintain data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data
  • Conducts training, including developing user procedures, guidelines and documentation
  • Continuously increases both HR knowledge and HRIS application/tools knowledge
  • Participates in user group meetings and conferences
  • Performs other related duties to benefit the mission/vision of the organization
  • Assist with data analysis, modeling and reporting
  • Prepares files for audit and maintains SOX compliance in accordance with company policy
  • System admin responsibilities for the HCM system and must attend routine status meetings with HCM partners
  • Project manages all service requests from the HCM to ensure they are progressing in a timely manner.
  • Collaborates with Payroll, HR and Benefits to identify process improvement opportunities.
  • Partners with Payroll team on various tasks such as reporting, data pull, system adjustments, imports, exception report creation and others as requested by the leadership team.
Education & Experience
  • 2 years HRIS experience analytics/systems
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance or related field
  • CCP, HRCI, IIBA, and/or PMI certification a plus
  • Experience in Human Resources and Payroll
  • Experience with Ceridian DayForce required
  • Advanced Excel and MS Office skill
  • Experience in project management
