Job Overview :
Our Order Entry Clerk is responsible for accurately entering, processing, and managing customer orders within a company's system. They play a key role in ensuring order accuracy, customer satisfaction, and efficient workflow coordination between departments.
Key Responsibilities :
Enter and process customer orders accurately into the system.
Verify order details, including pricing, quantities, and product specifications.
Communicate with customers to confirm order details and resolve discrepancies.
Work closely with sales, warehouse, and shipping departments to ensure timely order fulfillment.
Track and update order statuses, providing customers with updates as needed.
Maintain accurate records of orders, invoices, and related documents.
Assist in resolving customer complaints or order-related issues.
Perform data entry and administrative tasks as required.
Qualifications & Skills :
High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree preferred).
Previous experience in order processing, data entry, or customer service is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and order management software.
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
