ASC Staffing Group is looking to hire deburring technicians for a machine shop located in Valencia, CA.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Deburrer to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for removing burrs and sharp edges from machined parts to ensure quality and safety. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work with various tools and equipment in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Utilize hand tools and machinery to deburr metal components, ensuring they meet quality standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints to understand specifications and requirements for each part.
- Perform quality control checks on finished products to ensure adherence to specifications.
- Assemble parts as needed, ensuring proper fit and finish.
- Operate forklifts safely to transport materials within the warehouse.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively regarding production goals and challenges.
Experience
- Previous experience in machining or manufacturing environments is preferred.
- Proficiency in using micrometers and other measuring tools is essential.
- Familiarity with SolidWorks or similar CAD software is a plus.
- Knowledge of welding techniques is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Experience with quality control processes and standards is highly desirable.
- Ability to work effectively in a warehouse setting, including the use of hand tools and machinery.
Shift: 5:30AM - 1PM (plenty of OT)
Pay: $19-$23 DOE
Background check and drug test.
Job Types: Full-time, Temp-to-hire
Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
