We are looking for a highly skilled PCB Test & Assembly Technician to join our innovative team. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong background in printed circuit board (PCB) assembly, testing, and troubleshooting who are eager to work on cutting-edge projects and help bring groundbreaking products to market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform PCB assembly, calibration, and testing with precision.
- Solder, modify, and repair PCB assemblies.
- Conduct diagnostic testing, calibration, and board swaps for tester maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Assist remote engineers by setting up hardware and managing changeovers in the lab.
- Operate and maintain handling and probing equipment to support testing procedures.
- Conduct qualification and design validation testing on new products in collaboration with engineering teams to ensure product readiness for production.
- Execute tests and debug complex PCBAs and high-level assemblies down to the component level when necessary.
- Identify, analyze, document, and communicate any issues encountered during testing, ensuring timely resolution and root cause analysis.
- Analyze test log files and apply creative and analytical thinking to solve complex problems.
- Investigate root causes and pursue corrective actions to prevent recurrence of faults.
- Work closely with Client Test and New Product Introduction (NPI) teams to resolve issues.
- Document and troubleshoot moderate to complex issues in a systematic manner.
- Participate in Software Qualification and report any bugs that may impact performance.
Required Education & Experience:
- Associate’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent work experience preferred.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency with signal generators, digital multi-meters, oscilloscopes, and other diagnostic tools.
- Strong ability to work independently on time-sensitive projects with minimal supervision.
- Solid understanding of analog and digital circuits and experience with component-level debugging of PCB assemblies.
- Familiarity with Windows OS, Microsoft Office, Adobe Reader, BOMs, revision controls, and ECOs.
- Knowledge of Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, 5S practices, and Quality Control tools for problem-solving.
- Experience with PCBA manufacturing processes is a plus.
